Meet Dr. Eshwar Arasu
Dr. Eshwar Arasu is a Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics and a trusted specialist in root canal therapy and surgical endodontics. His career began with a degree in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Michigan, where his senior project—a root canal filling device for veterinarians—sparked his interest in dentistry. That passion led him to the Harvard School of Dental Medicine, where he earned his DMD, followed by a residency and Master’s in Dentistry at Virginia Commonwealth University.
Throughout his training and career, Dr. Arasu has been drawn to the meticulous nature of endodontic care. His clinical research has focused on 3D imaging in endodontic surgery, and his work reflects a strong commitment to staying at the forefront of modern dental technology. Whether he’s using advanced diagnostic tools or performing complex procedures under a microscope, he approaches every case with technical precision and a steady hand.
Before opening Arbor Endodontics, Dr. Arasu spent eight years practicing in Nashville, TN, where he became a partner in a group endodontic practice and developed a strong foundation in patient care and collaborative dentistry. He also presented numerous continuing education courses to general dentists, deepening his expertise in both the clinical and educational aspects of the field.
Today, Dr. Arasu is excited to bring his skills back to the Midwest. He and his wife, a Grand Rapids native, are proud to call West Michigan home as they raise their two daughters. Whether you’ve been referred for treatment or are experiencing an unexpected dental emergency, Dr. Arasu and the Arbor team are here to guide you with empathy, clarity, and care you can count on.

Your first visit typically begins with a consultation, where we’ll gather digital imaging, assess your tooth, and explain your diagnosis and treatment options in detail. If treatment is recommended and you're ready, we may be able to begin that same day. Our team is here to answer questions and help you feel confident every step of the way.

All of our intake forms are available online and integrated with our secure patient portal, so you can complete everything from home—no paperwork required at check-in.
Emergency Availability
